Brocade Robe
Brocade Robe
The brocaded chapan is a traditional robe of ample proportions that is worn by both men and women on ritual occasions such as weddings, funerals and religious holidays.
The loosely woven brocade used for this chapan was locally manufactured and the design features meandering and blooming vines that enclose further blooms of different flowers, all against blue silk ground. Knitted ribbon edging and baby blue cotton lining.

Keep in mind ...
Our vintage and antique pieces have traveled throughout the world and survived decades - maybe even centuries - of use. Do not expect them to be in perfect or *new* condition. Signs of their past makers and owners may be noticeable such as small holes, loose threads, & stains. In our opinion, this adds to their charm!
