Woven Cotton Panel
This woven cotton panel was made in Laos in the early 20th century. It is composed of two panels sewn together lengthwise. The main field is made up of rows of interlacing blue diamond and it is framed with long edges of zig-zag motifs and one short edge with a stylized floral border. The design was added to the off-white tabby cotton foundation with a continuous supplementary weft. The textile is edged with red piping.
