Velvet Ikat
A silk velvet ikat panel that has alternating paisley medallions in white, light blue and green on a red background in the center and a wide patterned border of beige, green, white and brown. The ikat method involves dying the pattern on the yarn before the weaving process, thus resulting in fuzzy borders between the colors.
