Uzbek Ikat Chapan
Chapan a colorful winter coat worn over other clothes during the coldest winter months in Central Asia. The name comes from Turkic meaning sewn together. The Chapan is usually adorned with intricate threading and colorful patterns. This particular coat is constructed of ikat silk material and lined with bold Russian cotton.
