Sindh Head Cover (Abochhini)
This head coverĀ (abochhini) was made in eastern Sindh in the early 20th century out of cotton, silk, and mirrors.
The cotton ground is divided into four sections of red fields embroidered with small bouquets. The center is a round floral medallion. Crossing lines, borders, and center are also composed of small flowers. All of the decoration is stitched with silk threads and applied discs of mirror glass.
