Embroidered Loincloth

loincloth, or cache- sexe, made of woven raffia. The raffia foundation is comprised of various small pieces that are sewn together in a symmetrical pattern and embellished with polychrome cotton embroidery and the bottom edge is further decorated with bronze rings.
