Chinese Medallion

This striking Chinese medallion has two reddish-orange fish in the center swimming on a light blue ground. On the parameter of this embroidered piece there are four large flowers, two in pink and two in orange. On the top right corner there is a silver pheasant flying towards the fish. It is backed with a light blue silk backing. Counted stitch silk embroidery on silk ground.
