Armenian Embroidery
Coverlet of cotton embroidered with a circular center in a dense field within multiple borders. The so called Armenian embroideries are easily identifiable: coarse, indigo dyed cotton ground worked with coiled silk in mostly uncounted cross stitching.Their origin however isn’t that clear and could be Armenian or Indian.
