Kushu Bundri
Flat and square textile used for wrapping and carrying large bundles. It is made from one loom length decorated with supplementary weft patterning. The length is cut along the weft into four equal panels that are sewn together in the warp diraction to form a square.The center features a large swastika with geometric pattern bands and diamond shaped motifs around it. The swastika is a tantric symbol of auspiciousness and revered as such by Buddhists, Jains and Hindus. It is also the Chinese character of eternity.
