Armenian Embroidery
The so called Armenian embroideries are easily identifiable: coarse, indigo dyed cotton ground worked with coiled silk in mostly uncounted cross stitching. Their design is often “ruggy, with center medallions and multiple borders. Their origin is still debatable and could possibly be Indian.
