Chamba Gift Wrap (Rumal)
A linen coverlet embroidered with silk, featuring Krishna flanked by two maidens within multiple floral borders. This type of embroidery is known as Chamba, produced in the small Hindu Pahari kingdoms, nowadays Himachal Pradesh, in northern India. Chamba is but one of the urban centers where this type of work was done.
