Rajastani Bassinet / Table

This Rajastani bassinet or table was made in the 19th century. It is made out of carved wood, iron, and cane-work. This bassinet is decorated with ornately carved side panels that depict lions, elephants, and solar-scapes set amid columns of guardians and dancers; all set on eight clawed feet. Some of the paint has been rubbed off of the wood and the cane-work has been replaced, but the overall condition is good.
