Tapestry Weave Shouldercloth
Rectangle Luntaya-Acheic cut in two and joined to form a shouldercloth.The expensive to produce, horizontally patterned silk gets woven in interlocking tapestry technique, done by teams of two girls who manipulate 100-200 small shuttles back and forthin turn through a warp of over 1500 threads. The design is typical wavelike cables, the colors customarily bright.
